Darwin Mining Club Luncheon

The Darwin Mining Club Committee welcomes the Hon. Adam Giles, Chief Minister for the Northern Territory, as its keynote guest on 23 September.

Mr Giles was elected to the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly in 2008 and to the positions of CLP Leader and Chief Minister in March 2013. This luncheon will provide Mr Giles with an opportunity to outline his assessment of the state of the NT mining industry and his agenda for the next 11 months leading up to the Territory election on 27 August 2016.

The event will also provide an opportunity for guests to question the Chief Minister on industry issues including:

• Infrastructure plans
• The Memorandum of Understanding with the South Australian Government
• The China Free Trade Agreement strategy
• Plans to cut red tape.
